A Brief History

Fixxer was founded in Abilene, Texas in 2003 by vocalist/guitarist Rene Guzman and guitarist Joe Luna. They were joined by Marcus Bustamante playing bass and Corey Kendrick on drums. They recorded their first album, Silent Apocalypse, in 2004. Before the second set of recordings could take place, Corey left the band for a side project.

The new line-up of Fixxer included Bustamante on the drums and a new addition, D.J. Mumm, on the bass. After many long months of recovery, Fixxer re-premiered on the Texas death metal scene better and harder than ever with all new songs. They are currently recording a second demo of their new songs. A set back only made Fixxer come back with a vengeance to take the Texas death metal scene by storm.
