Seven Minus Luck is an original rock band that started in July of 2005. Seven Minus Luck has been playing live shows and writing original music since then. Their first demo was released in the summer of 2007 and they are currently writing new material for a second CD. Seven Minus Luck is a hard working rock band that plays music to inspire themselves and in the process inspire others. They are influenced by bands like Metallica, Pantera, Black Sabbath, Evans Blue, Tool, Godsmack, Underoath, and Rage Against the Machine. Four out of five of the members in Seven Minus Luck are currently enrolled in colleges across Ohio. The other member is a full time construction worker, and some of the others are part-time workers in between their classes. This is what makes Seven Minus Luck one of the hardest working bands in Ohio, as members drive hours every weekend just to have band practice.
